Autopay lets you pay your rent automatically each month using a saved payment method. To ensure proper setup, Autopay must be created at least 3 business days before your rent due date.
You can set up Autopay for a short period or extend it for up to 10 years, depending on your needs. Autopay runs based on the schedule and settings you choose and continues until it reaches the end date you set or until you cancel or change it.
Steps
1. Sign in as a Returning User at: https://portal.rentpayment.com/pay/login.html
2. Open the Main Menu and select Autopay.
If you do not see the menu, click the Autopay icon in the upper‑right corner of the page.
3. On the left side of the screen, set your Autopay preferences:
- Payment Day
- Frequency
- Start Date
- End Date

Important Information About Autopay
- Available Autopay payment dates may be limited based on your property’s settings. Autopay dates usually must align with your rent due date and any grace period established by your property management.
- Not all payment methods are available for every property or Autopay setup. Accepted payment types (such as credit card, debit card, or eCheck) depend on your property’s preferences and may also affect which Autopay dates are allowed.
- Choosing an Autopay date does not change your rent due date. Your payment is still due according to your lease terms.
- Payment clearing time is not counted toward your due date. Even if a payment is still processing, it may be considered late if it was scheduled or submitted after your property’s due date or grace period.
- To avoid late fees or payment issues, select an Autopay date that falls on or before your property’s due date and confirm accepted payment methods with your property management if needed.
