Property management companies can share balance information with RentPayment through an integration between their accounting software and RentPayment.
If your property uses this integration, you will be able to see your account balance when you log in to RentPayment.
If you do not see a balance, it usually means one of the following:
- Your property does not share balance information with RentPayment, or
- Your property shares balances but has not yet uploaded a balance for your resident or tenant account.
In either case, you should contact your property manager to confirm whether they use this integration and whether your balance has been uploaded.
Important to know about balances
- RentPayment is the payment processor, not the owner of your account balance
- Property management companies manage and maintain balances, including charges, adjustments, and corrections
- RentPayment displays balance information only if your property provides it
