1. Go to the RentPayment login page: https://portal.rentpayment.com/pay/login.html
Or open the RentPayment mobile app (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
2. Select “Having trouble logging in?”
On the mobile app, select “Login help?”

3. Choose the option that best describes your issue and click Submit.
4. If successful, a confirmation message will appear stating that an email has been sent.
5. Open the email and click the “Reset Login” link.
- The link is valid for 24 hours.
- Enter your new password twice and click “Reset Login.”
Password Requirements
The new password must meet all of the following rules:
- Length: 12–30 characters

Must include:
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number

At least one special character from this list:
~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - \ /

Must not include the following characters:
? < > - Must be different from your login ID

Must not repeat the same character or sequence more than twice
(Examples not allowed: 111, aaa, 123, ABC, !!)
If successful, you will be automatically logged in and taken to the home page.
Troubleshooting Notes

If you select “I don't know my username/password but know my email” and receive an invalid link error, your email may be associated with multiple usernames.

If you remember your username, select “I know my username but don’t know my password.”

If you do not receive the reset email, the email address on file may differ from the one you entered.
- Not all properties log in to RentPayment directly; instead, they use a Single Sign-on from your property management software. If you are an Equity Residential, Sun Communities, or Resident Connect resident, please contact your property management team directly for help with login or access issues.
