Below are the detailed instructions for setting up a new account:
1. Visit https://mrisoftware.rentpayment.com/, navigate to the "Make a Payment?" section, and click "Set Up Account."
Depending on your internet browser or property management company's settings, the steps may appear differently. If needed, you may have to contact your property or leasing office to obtain your specific account number/details that could be required to validate your access.
2. Search for your property name.
3. From the provided list, select your property and click "Select."
If your property is not listed, click "Search Again" to restart Step 1 or contact your property for further guidance.
You might be prompted for additional information if your property uses integrated tenant management software. If not, you can proceed to step 5.
4. Enter the required information to locate your account. You may have the option to select from the following:
- Resident ID (field specific name)
- Account Number
- Last Name and Unit Number*
- Choose Your Street*
*Selecting these options will require you to confirm your full name and address in Step 5. An error message will be displayed if the information entered does not match your property's records. In that case, please try again or contact your property for assistance.
5. Complete all necessary fields, dropdown boxes, and checkboxes. Check the "I Agree" box to read and acknowledge the "User Agreement" and "Privacy Policy. "
Note: The example provided is for a non-integrated account. Changes to your name and unit information may not be possible for integrated accounts or must be chosen from a drop-down list.
6. Click "Save & Continue" to finalize the account creation process.
If your account setup is successful, you will proceed to step 2: Adding a Payment Method.
